Did you know someone is diagnosed with diabetes every two minutes?
This might just seem like another statistic but for our family it’s much, much more than that. You see, recently my gorgeous 7-year-old nephew was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, totally out of the blue.
This has obviously had a life-changing impact on him, his mum and dad, and the whole family but, being the little trooper he is, he’s coping amazingly well.
In order to raise awareness of Type 1 Diabetes, and help raise some money for Diabetes UK, me and my girls are taking part in the 1 million step challenge between July and September.
I know there are lots of extremely worthwhile fundraising activities going on right now, but any support is much appreciated.
