We are used to finding the info that we need easily and with minimum hassle. And it should be the same for council employee information, no matter what job you do or where you are, it should be easy to access what you need at your fingertips.
As you’re reading this, you’re already familiar with all things MyCouncilWorks but did you know that it was created to do just that? As part of our ongoing digital improvements we looked at how to provide better access and the right information to employees across the council, whether you work from a computer or not. MyCouncilWorks doesn’t need a login and can be viewed on any device which means you can always get access to essential information.
A key focus of Connect for Success is employee empowerment and creating one space in which to share all information gives everyone equal opportunity to make the most of employee benefits, courses, news and insights, participate in feedback and stay up to date with what other teams are doing. This marks a shift in how we work and a change in culture but one that is increasingly common across other public sector organisations and reflects our commitment to learn, develop and improve how we all work together.
