Note: HROnline does not escalate claims to your line manager for them to authorise in your absence the way MyView did. Therefore it is essential that you apply a redirection if you are on leave to ensure that the claims can be authorised in your absence.
On the home dashboard of Manager Self Service, click on your to do list. If any of your employees put in a claim, then it will appear in this list.
Click on the arrow on the right hand side
You will be taken to the screen below.
From here, scroll down until you see “Authorisation status”. Click on it and select an option. The options are:
- Authorised
- Not Authorised
- On hold
There is also a box below that called “Reason” which you can type in. For example, if you decide not to authorise a claim, then you can explain why.
Scroll down to the bottom until you see “Save” at the bottom. Click that to submit and confirm your authorisation.
