Building Standards secure Customer Service Excellence Standard for 8th Year

Building Standards Officer with foreman

Congratulations to the Building Standards Team who have been accredited with the Customer Excellence Standard for the 8th year in a row. The team were the first in the council to achieve the Standard in 2013 and this year the independent assessor said they met the standard across all 57 of the scoring criteria. He then awarded them the highest Compliance+ mark in 20 of those criteria; two more than last time in recognition of the excellent work done to help customers throughout the pandemic. A great result for the team.

Customer Support Services, Building Standards and Legal and Regulatory Support have all achieved the Customer Service Excellence standard this year.
