Further to last week’s email, the Council is now in the official pre-election period ahead of the Scottish Parliamentary Elections on 7th May 2026. This means that there are particular requirements and restrictions for council staff during this time. The Notices of Election for the Argyll and Bute Constituency and the Highlands and Islands Regional have now been published on the Council’s website. You can find both notices at Scottish Parliamentary Elections | Argyll and Bute Council along with other important information on registering to vote and your voting choices. This page will be updated over the weeks running up to the election.
