Digital Champions coming to save you time

Teams, channels, planner and sway – these are just some features of Microsoft 365, our new digital platform. In addition to familiar apps such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, MS365 provides extra tools, designed to save you time, cut down on emails and generally make your working life easier.

We understand there is a lot of new information to take on board just now when you’re busy. With the vast majority of the council being new to MS365, it’s going to take time to build skills and knowledge.

To help guide and navigate your way around MS365, we’re launching a Digital Champion programme in January. In addition to online training material, tutorials and top tips, each service will have a dedicated champion for you to contact.  The champions are currently busy learning all about MS365 and will be on hand to help you from January.

We are planning and adapting support around each service, based on what you need to help you in your job. In the meantime, if you’re new to MS365, you can watch a short introduction to Teams. Find out there’s so much more to Teams than just online meetings.

You can also find tutorials and top tips on MyCouncilWorks.

We’ll provide further updates before we introduce you to your champions in January.
