This leaflet will help answer some of the questions that may be asked before, during and after attending a medical consultation with the Council’s Occupational Health provider.
Notification of sickness absence and return to work discussion form
A return to work discussion must take place and a form completed after every period of sickness absence. The line manager must also record the meeting date on MyView and upload the completed form. Please find managers guidance on using MyView.
Supporting Attendance at Work Policy
The Maximising Attendance at Work policy has been replaced by the new Supporting Attendance at Work policy as of 01/10/2021. Any formal attendance support that commenced before this date will continue to handled according to the previous Maximising Attendance Policy and Procedures. For further guidance please contact the Wellbeing Team.
