On 17 August, we introduced our new recruitment process and system for managers who use the system directly, rather than through Admin support teams, and for roles that do not require PVG checks.
This change did not include the following services:
- Education
- HSCP
- Catering and Cleaning
- Roads and Amenities
The new approach is scheduled to be rolled out for all jobs from mid-November.

The MyJobScotland website imports data from Talentlink every hour, on the hour.
Please note though that during busy periods there may be a delay in vacancies pulling through, this can sometimes be a delay of around 30 minutes.
