November can be a tough month as the nights draw in and the weather changes. For me, it’s definitely more of a slog walking the dogs in the dark and wet.
As we race towards the end of the year, it’s important that we take moments to look after ourselves, whether that’s a lunchtime walk, finding a quiet spot in the house to read, or attempting to master a Bake Off inspired showstopper!
Whatever works for you, sometimes simple pleasures are enough to recharge the batteries.
It’s also important to remember that it’s ok not to feel ok. If you’re struggling, you’ll find lots of help and support on our Employee Wellbeing page.

Podcast
Joining me this week is Callum Robertson, Assistant Network and Standards Manager. We chat about the preparation for winter and the logistics of keeping people safe on the Argyll and Bute road network during the cold, dark mornings and nights. Listen to the podcast on the council website.
Have a great weekend.
