Why recognising excellence across the council is important…
Every day, across Argyll and Bute, we make a difference to the lives of people who choose to live, work and do business here. We care for people, we educate our children, we keep our roads clean and safe, we look at ways to develop our communities, we help people during their best and most difficult times, and more.
We show up every day and together we deliver what’s needed, but every now and then someone might go above and beyond, do something that isn’t expected or inspires us in how we work. It’s important to recognise those people and that’s what our AB Recognition Programme is all about.
Part of Connect for Success is focused on how we can be empowered in how we do our jobs, celebrating excellence, individual achievement and giving us the opportunity to shout-out to our colleagues who we think deserve that extra thanks from across the council.
