New Wellbeing Forum – Volunteers required

Wellbeing

Are you interested in improving employee wellbeing at work?  Are you an effective communicator?  Do you have ideas about how we can engage effectively with colleagues across departments?

We are in the process of facilitating a new quarterly online Wellbeing Forum, which will be responsible for:

  • Identifying key stakeholders for employee wellbeing
  • Identifying and promoting key wellbeing initiatives across the Council
  • Considering corporate approaches to improving wellbeing across the Council and contributing to plans to promote these
  • Developing knowledge and awareness of the wellbeing agenda, resources and initiatives and promoting these within services/departments

“Health and wellbeing is about being emotionally healthy as well as physically healthy. It is feeling able to cope with normal stresses and living a fulfilled life”. (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence).

We are looking for volunteers across all departments who have an interest in health and wellbeing at work and who would like to participate in the new Wellbeing Forum.

It is anticipated that there will be 4 meetings held per annum, with the first taking place in April.

If you would like to find out more or wish to put your name forward, please contact the Wellbeing Team at wellbeing@argyll-bute.gov.uk  or contact Sharon on 01546 604467 or Julie on 01546 604618.
