Online training with your new look LEON

Image shows the word LEON in green and blue

We are pleased to announce that your new look LEON is now available to access.

LEON is our learning hub that holds a wide range of online training courses. We appreciate your patience over the past few months while we have been making improvements.

You can find LEON on MyCouncilWorks or by visiting leon.argyll-bute.gov.uk.

You can access LEON on any internet enabled device.

What’s new?

LEON has a completely new look. We’ve made it easier for you to find training relevant to you and you can now keep records of all the training you have completed.  The new features also make it possible for managers to see team learning records and there are a range of learning podcasts offering an opportunity for some time away from the screen.

You’ll find a short introduction to LEON in this handy interactive document

How to use LEON?

You no longer have to sign into LEON when accessing it on your council device.

Simply click ‘Log onto LEON’ and then ‘Log In with Azure’. This will log you into your account using you network password. Further guidance is included in the How to use LEON guidance which can be found here

More information and guidance

We have updated the LEON page with a short guidance document which explains the features of the new system however, if you do have any problems, please email: trainingcentre@argyll-bute.gov.uk.

Launching our new look LEON is the first of many improvements we will be making to the way you access and undertake learning over the coming year.
