Pensions and Retiring

Are you thinking about retiring? The pension fund need 3 months’ notice to process your pension paperwork prior to your retirement. Please contact HR Employee Relations Advice Line on 01546 605513 (press 2) or email hremployeerelationsenquiries@argyll-bute.gov.uk to start this process to be sure that your pension is in place for your retirement date.

 

 

SPFO Online

You can access your Strathclyde Pension details online by creating an account with SPFOnline.  You will need to request an activation key to access your pension record online through SPFOnline.

Once you are on the web page reached from the hyperlink above, just click on sign up.

SPFOnline will enable you to do the following subject to the  SPFOnline terms and conditions [37kb]:

• Amend your contact details
• Check your personal details
• Check the information that your employer has provided us with
• Estimate your benefits
• Ask us for information/calculations

You will only be able to use SPFOnline once you have received your activation key from SPFO.

If you have not previously supplied us with your email, they will send your activation key by snail mail. So if you have recently changed postal address, please notify them of this change beforehand as your activation key can only be sent to the postal address they currently hold on file.
