For the first time in 27 years, the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race will stop over in Scotland. The fleet of eleven 70-foot ocean racing yachts, owned by Clipper Ventures will berth in Oban starting on 12/07/24 and stay for ten days after a 40,000 nautical mile race around the world. The local community will welcome the final homecoming from Washington DC, USA leg of the Race and provide a 10-day festival programme of events framed under the Festival of the Sea.
