April is Stress Awareness Month.

It’s a great time to hit reset, have a clear out and ease yourself into feeling ‘summer ready’. A little goes a long way. Take a mindful minute of chat with a colleague. Let’s keep looking out for ourselves and each other.

Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), provided by ‘Help@Hand by Unum,’ provides practical advice and resources to help you manage stress, and is available via their app. You can download this from the Apple App Store or Google Play. You’ll need the unique Council PIN code which is available by contacting wellbeing@argyll-bute.gov.uk.

Once registered, you’ll have access to the full range of services they provide including a confidential helpline, unlimited mental health support, access to GP appointments and financial and legal advice. This service is also available to eligible family members (partner and children up to age 18 or 24 if in full time education.)
