Enhance your night driving skills

Driving on today’s roads presents challenges where we could all benefit from developing our driving skills. To help drivers navigate these challenges safely and confidently, Road Smart Hubs (RSH) are back in action across Argyll.

The Hubs are a collaboration between the Institute of Advanced Motorists, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, and Police Scotland. The Hubs are available in Lochgilphead, Campbeltown, Oban, and Dunoon, offering essential guidance to drivers of all experience levels, and delivered by enthusiastic, friendly, and experienced local teams.

Each Hub has two 90-minute sessions covering Night-Time Driving and Winter Driving and cover topics that cause collisions ranging from minor vehicle damage to serious injury and death. Motorists can choose to attend one or both sessions. Sessions are completely free, or attendees can make a donation the charity Glasgow North Group of Advanced Motorists to help them continue road safety education.

From the short commute to long-distance travel, the RSH will help drivers navigate Scotland’s Road network safely and enjoyably, regardless of when they passed their driving test.
