‘What gets in the way of you doing your job?’
Thank you to everyone who replied the last time I asked this. I’d love to hear more from you all about the kinds of things that would make it easier to get your job done.
As you know I am looking at how different ways of working could make it easier for us all to work together and achieve what we need to. I will use what you tell me to develop the detail of this change programme.
I know that there is a lot of change happening already, some across the council as a whole, some within services, some within individual teams. And I know that making change happen can take effort and time.
Rather than give you another update just now therefore about the programme, I’d like to hear from you again about obstacles to getting work done, so that I can ensure that this organisational change programme is realistic for you to put into practice, and works.
Please get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks.
“What is the most unusual animal that has been present at a wedding? And what is the best location for a ceremony in Argyll and Bute?
This week I have the pleasure of speaking with Julie McLellan, Senior Registrar and Service Point Manager, about how the council’s registration service helps make the dreams of happy couples come true!
Especially timely with the increasing costs of living, the council is introducing the My Tribe initiative, to help make free period products available to anyone in Argyll and Bute who needs them. You can find out more on the council’s website.
Have a good weekend.
