Women in leadership

This time of year is always a bit strange, we’re suddenly in October with Halloween items next to early Christmas decorations and mince pies in the supermarket. It’s hard to know where September went, I’m not quite sure I’m ready to see Christmas just yet!

It’s a reminder that the year is racing away from us and the need to take a break where possible. If you have remaining annual leave, look after yourselves and make sure you use it. I’m doing exactly just that and taking a couple of weeks off to recharge the batteries as I take a staycation.

Congratulations

Our Discretionary Benefits Team were announced as runners up in the National Excellence in Innovation Awards for their work managing the Argyll and Bute Flexible Food Fund.

It’s a great achievement and a real testament to the huge effort and partnership working that takes place as we continue to offer help and support to residents.

Well done to everyone involved.
