Woodland recovery

Helen with a seahorse creationHelen Butler from the web team has used her lockdown time to make artwork and woodwork creatures. Her work tells the story of her personal recovery journey from brain surgery.

Helen is using her work to raise awareness of epilepsy and to raise funds for the NHS and several epilepsy charities.

So far she has raised £600. The woodwork has been donated to Blarbuie Woodlands in Lochgilphead and will shortly be installed to view in the woods.

During her recovery, Helen visited the woods a lot and thought it would be nice to contribute to the community project.
